Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Forum 2001 speaker on "New Economy, New Enterprises and dot.coms," Virginia Littlejohn is Chairman, CEO, and Co-Founder of Tradebuilders, Inc. Tradebuilders, based in Washington, DC, has been helping companies go global through its Internet portal and virtual trade missions since 1999.

Over the last 15 years, Ms. Littlejohn has worked with a high-level global network of leading entrepreneurs, association and corporate executives, and government and trade officials from more than 100 countries. She is past president of the Professional Services Council, which represents the knowledge-based professional and technical services industry. She formerly served as president of the National Association of Women Business Owners, and Vice President of the World Association of Women Entrepreneurs.

Ms. Littlejohn was the first chairman of the International Trade Committees for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Council on Small Business, the Small Business Legislative Council, and the American Express Small Business Partnership. She organized the International Visitors Program for the 1995 White House Conference on Small Business, and was Senior Advisor to the SME Working Party for the OECD (which represents the world's 30 major industrialized economies), for a global entrepreneurial conference on "Realizing the Benefits of Globalization and the Knowledge-Based Economy", held in Paris in late 2000.

She has organized numerous trade missions and trade events over the last 16 years, and was the Going Global columnist for Association Trends. She currently serves as Senior Advisor for North America and the Caribbean for the 112-country World Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (WASME), based in India.
