Washington, DC -- With concerns about security at a fever pitch since Sept. 11, the Washington, DC Technology Council, the Greater Washington Board of Trade's International Gateway and the U.S.-Israel Business Exchange will team up to give the area's growing number of tech security firms a chance to collaborate with firms from Israel. The three organizations will co-host a security-focused "Virtual Trade Mission" from April 22 to May 22, with participants ranging from security firms, potential clients and corporate sponsors. The mission will enable participants to conduct business through online meetings over a four-week period, giving them a cost-effective way to network and collaborate on finding reliable solutions to perceived threats. More than 100 companies and agencies are expected to participate in what will be the region's first Internet-based trade mission with Israel. The event is being managed by DC-based Tradebuilders.
